About Brothers of Influence

Brothers Of Influence (BOI) was founded by Christian Dixon, Travis Evans,  Antwan Beason, Seph McWhite, and Maury Sands, who shared a vision of creating something deeper than a social group: a space rooted in connection, culture, and community.

What began as a digital gathering has evolved into a global brotherhood of men of color; one that fosters meaningful relationships, shared experiences, and collective growth both online and in real life.

At its core, BOI is a sanctuary. A space where members can show up fully and authentically free from judgment, yet grounded in respect. Our community spans cities, backgrounds, and perspectives, but we are united by a shared commitment to building bonds, uplifting one another, and creating opportunities to learn, lead, and give back.

Through curated conversations, intentional programming, and real-world experiences, BOI engages topics that matter—culture, identity, wellness, social issues, and the evolving experiences of Black and Brown communities. We don’t just talk; we connect, support, and activate.

As we continue to grow, our mission remains clear: to cultivate a network that empowers its members, strengthens community ties, and creates lasting impact. Whether through dialogue, events, or initiatives that support those in need, BOI is committed to being a space where influence is not just claimed, but used with purpose.

This is more than a group.

This is a brotherhood.

This is BOI.
